Angling offences - Advise the Environment Agency

Ever seen someone fishing illegally and wondered why no-one is doing anything about it? Often it’s because it hasn’t been reported. We can’t do anything if we don’t know there’s a problem: don’t assume someone else has told us.

If an offence is happening now, please call our incident hotline on 0800 80 70 60. To report anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or report to Crimestoppers online.

It helps us if you give as much detail as possible, including specific times, locations, the type of offence and descriptions of the offenders. If you want to know what we’ve done about your report, ask for an incident number and feedback.
